Education for All, Financial Freedom for Life

A third of Australians are financially illiterate. That’s over 8 million people who don’t understand money basics, like how interest works, how to set a household budget, how to achieve a savings goal or pay off debt.

We know these are essential money skills everyone should have before they launch into adulthood. So we need to teach them, because we believe every child deserves a financially positive future.

Why we are different

Fiercely Independent, Not A Bank

You wouldn’t trust a social media company to teach your kids about privacy. Don’t trust a bank to teach them about money.

We’re not a bank. We’re financial literacy educators. We don’t sell credit cards. We don’t sell loans.
We’re not trying to recruit you or your child to open a bank account with us.

All we do is teach kids about money (and we’re awesome at it).

Financial Literacy Made Easy for Schools

Kids Get Money provides schools with easy-to-use financial literacy software. Everything is prepared for teachers so there’s minimal preparation time, with no previous knowledge required. Each lesson is connected to the National Curriculum including Mathematics, Humanities, English and more.

84% of students said that they felt more financially literate after doing one module of Kids Get Money.

85% of students who completed one module of Kids Get Money from Y6, Y8 and Y10, demonstrated retention of learning in key outcome areas appropriate to their age and year level.

86% of students agreed that they had a better understanding of why it is important to be financially literate after doing one module of Kids Get Money.

90% of teachers using Kids Get Money agree that it increases the efficacy of financial literacy learning for students and provides them with the support they need.
